In October 2024, Francis Zierer (Creator Spotlight) and Daisy Alioto (Dirt) interviewed Elise Pepple, the Executive Director of Marfa Public Radio (MPR), for their podcast Tasteland. The podcast covered making radio in a small market, which local stories have the most impact, and how to talk about Marfa to outsiders while staying true to the mission.
